Nvidia

The thing about gaming is the great feeling where a new game releases, especially when you have been waiting for a decade for it. And the thing about PC gaming is the ability to play older legacy games.

Take 2 games, the parent company, saying in the Q3 Fiscal Year 2025 conference call “and we also plan to release Mafia: The Old Country in the Summer, Grand Theft Auto VI in the Fall, and Borderlands 4 before year-end” (Strauss Zelnick, Take2Games). Reconfirming GTA 6 in fall 2025.

And after reading the entire Take2Games conference call.

I don’t see where the rumors that it won’t be coming out this fall on PC as well as consoles. I think that is just something people are assuming because that is what Rockstar has done in the past. Could be a historical president Rockstar has set, I don’t  want to have to buy a console for a singular game.

After MOST Nvidia graphics cards release still have the 5070 to come out. (First week of March).

Although, it is really intresting to see the newest AI models helping gamers experience vast worlds, but I believe there has been a cost. The newest Nvidia release comes with new drivers and coders and gaming studios are trying to use this tech to its best ability, but I think there has been a widespread of things breaking.

Firstly, it has been stated plenty of times all over Reddit forums, that the lucky ones that have been able to purchase a 5090 Graphics card, the power cables that goes into the GPU are melting. 575 watts is the power requirement for these cards.

For example, I have lately been watching a few streamers that game on PC with an Nvidia GPU, and they have been experiencing crashes. And it’s not just the famous streamers I have been experience ALOT of crashing with my GPU drivers. specifically I get and error telling me that my Nevada graphics drivers are not up to date even though they are.)

Not only that there is a video on Youtube showing a RTX 5080 running decades old games at around 15 FPS. Apparently, 50 series cards don’t support 32-bit PhysX engines, See video.

So, maybe this is something that can be later patches into a Nvidia Driver update, but that isn’t a good look because it could be possible that other games will be just like this as more people get there hands on 50 series graphics cards.

Ultimately, I think with the new release of DLSS 4( the newest frame generation technology) this kind of AI tech will be coming to the newest console releases.

But let’s get into a more interesting topic. The video below explains the newest AMD graphics cards are supposed to release in the coming weeks, to compete with Nvidia cards that just released, and I think there could be a graphics card for the people weren’t lucky enough to get a new 5000 series card.

So, like he said in the video above. Maybe it is getting to the point where, AMD or Intel or another graphics card manufacturing company, is going to be a greater competitor to Nvidia.
